SAMUEL ETO'O FILS

The 31 year old Samuel Eto'o became the highest paid player in the world as of  August 2011 after he moved to Russia to play for Anzhi Makhachkala and became the richest player in Africa. Anzhi Makhachkala is owned by Russian business Mogul and investor Suleiman Kerimov.
His net worth according to Forbes is $45million with his 3 year deal with Russian club worth $32million made him the best player player in the world beating Ronaldo, earning $19million and Messi earning $16.8million.
He has won 4 awards as the African player of the year and 3 league titles with Barcelona and 1 with Inter-Milan.His sponsors,Ford and Puma, play a major role though for his earnings.
Eto'o trained at Kadji Sports Academy from 1992-1997 when he moved to Spain to play for Real Madrid.
He gained his Spanish citizenship in Oct 2007 and married his long term girlfriend and now wife, Georgette and are happy with 3 kids now.
He has given back to the community as he has established an academy which has given a number of talented youngsters their kick off in the field of soccer. Foundation Samuel Eto'o was established to help malnourished and uneducated children to seek aid and opportunity and to utilize their talents.
He recently launched his own Mobile Network Company in Cameroon  called SET'mobile(Samuel Eto'o initials). 
It is ranked third after Orange and MTN.
