Digital Migration

Soon enough, Kenyans, starting with Nairobi and its environs will experience full HDTV programs and presentation with over 100+ channels world wide. This came along with the new government initiative to bring globalization to reality and more exposure to our society.
It has came with a lot of challenges and court proceedings and injunctions from 3 'big' media houses in Kenya. However the court ruled against their request of extending the switch over from digital to analogue and has to be effected in less than 2 months. The reason as to why the existing media houses did not like to switch off so soon is merely because they want to continue being the main advertising and commercial center as they have a wider consumer reach. Digitilazation on the other side will enable all stations to have equal market consumption. The challenge will be, who will be the household name, who will feed the consumer with the required  information that is tangible and free of manipulations? Only time will tell. This will provide stiff competitions thus customer expectations made high. Kenyans, embrace this concept for our own benefits.
Kenya's popular blogger, Robert Alai had this to say and i do agree with him;

So there you have it folks. Judge him come 2015

Bloggers and Readers

  First off, i do apologize for not being active for quite sometime now. I have been away chasing what seemed to be my dream and hopefully find greener pastures through the lands of the great people of  China and Asia as a whole.
Algerian friend. The Great wall of China

  It has been such a long ride but finally i landed back home, Kenya, after some years of working abroad. It was a great experience out there and i must say this; YOU HAVE TO BE THERE TO EXPERIENCE IT. Life in general is a struggle of trial and error. It is never easy and if you do not try, you will never make it. As one philosopher said, whoever does not make mistakes does nothing. Fill in the blanks....

  With such an exposure, i must say, you get to see and experience the bad and good side of it. Working in or visiting a new environment with different cultural backgrounds, you have to be possesing excellent communication and interpersonal skills for you to mingle with people easily and smoothly. Do that and you will enjoy every bit of either you stay or work.

As i said earlier, this is rather a comeback sort of introduction and more feeds are coming your way all you lovely readers.
