MODERN DAY SLAVERY

Forced labor, bonded labor, human trafficking and and slaves are broad term used to define modern day slavery and has been very much elusive.

Slavery occurs when one person completely controls another person, using violence or threat of violence to maintain that control, exploits them economically, pays them nothing or little and they cannot walk away. 
Oxford dictionary defines it as a state or condition of having to work very hard everyday without proper remuneration or appreciation.
Kenya faces modern day slavery especially thousands of laborers who work in tea and sisal farms, slavery never ended. Poor housing, long working hours and low pay is what is pushing up for this modern day slavery. 
Kenyans in Saudi Arabia have been reduced to slaves from what they were promised to do.They go through sexual violence, violence, torture and starvation to death. More than 400,000 Kenyans work in Saudi.
