Medical research has revealed that more than 100,000 die yearly and more than 2.2 million are injured due to use of prescription drugs bought over the counter. If they were to be measured by the same yardstick, more than half would be banned without discussion. It has become life threatening .

It has consumed the lives of many people naming a few is the latest victim Queen of pop Whitney Houston who passed on in her Hotel room shower. According to doctors, she passed on before submerging into the sink as her lungs did not have enough water to drown her. She was under the influence of prescription drugs like Lorazepam, Valium, Xanax and sleeping medication.
Micheal Jackson, King of pop also passed on due to what Doctors refer it as drug cocktails. He was struggling to treat insomnia and had to undergo therapy for a 10hour period and that was enough to create a recipe for disaster. His doctor had him take Valium, Activan and Versed as part of the therapy. Dipravan, which is anesthetic used during surgery was also a contributing factor. They also tend to alter and or activate the moods, physiology and biochemistry.
All these drugs are used for short term treatment of anxiety, insomnia acute seizures , reduce tension and for Valium, it is also used when one wants to withdraw from Alcohol addiction.
